Fleeturo is delivery and collection software operated by Fleeturo, Office 153, Interchange Building, 1st Floor, 81–85 Station Road, Croydon, CR0 2RD.
For data protection purposes we are the data controller. You can contact us about anything in this policy at malcolm.k.banks96@gmail.com.
This policy covers the Fleeturo mobile app and website, used by our drivers and office staff. It also explains how we handle information about customers whose pets we collect.
The app records a driver's location in the background — including while the app is closed or the phone is locked — for as long as that driver is on shift.
We use this to:
Location recording stops when a driver goes off shift. It is not collected outside working hours. A driver can stop it at any time by setting their status to Offline, or by turning off location permission for the app in their phone's settings — though the app cannot be used for deliveries without it.
Location is stored against the driver's staff record and retained for 90 days, after which it is deleted.
The app uses the camera to take photographs of:
Photographs are uploaded to our systems and kept with the related job record. They are not used for any other purpose, and the app does not access the photo library beyond images a driver deliberately selects.
To carry out a collection or delivery we hold the customer's name, address, phone number, email address, details of the pet, and the order placed. Drivers see this only for stops assigned to them.
Our lawful basis is performance of a contract — we cannot carry out the service without it — and legitimate interests in operating the business safely and accurately.
We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Job and order records are kept for 7 years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Location history is kept for 90 days. Photographs are kept with the job record for the same period as the job.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to malcolm.k.banks96@gmail.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
If we change how we use information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
